National Gang Summit - Criteria and Conditions & Code of Conduct for Non-Sworn Attendees Registration
Terms & Conditions Registration
This training is intended for multidisciplinary professionals, including individuals from community agencies, the private sector, media, and academia who are actively engaged in the areas of gang prevention, intervention, enforcement, public safety, or related fields.
Due to the sensitive nature of the material presented, including discussions involving high-risk and vulnerable youth and current gang-related trends, all non-sworn registrations are subject to review and approval.
By submitting a registration request, applicants attest that all information provided is accurate, truthful, and reflective of their current professional role and organizational affiliation.
As part of the registration process, applicants may be required to:

Upload valid employment identification, and/or
-
Provide sufficient details to verify their professional role and agency affiliation
All submissions will be reviewed by the ONGIA Board.
ONGIA reserves the right to request additional information or clarification at any stage of the registration process, including after initial approval.
ONGIA further reserves the right to deny, revoke, or cancel any registration if:

The applicant does not meet the eligibility criteria

Information provided is incomplete, inaccurate, or cannot be verified

The applicant’s attendance is deemed not aligned with the objectives or security considerations of the event
In cases where a registration is denied prior to approval, a full refund will be issued.
However, where a registration is approved based on inaccurate, false, misleading, or misrepresented information, ONGIA reserves the right to cancel the registration without refund.
ONGIA also reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any participant from the event without refund if concerns arise regarding misrepresentation, conduct, or alignment with the event’s intended audience.
Registrations are non-transferable. Approved participants may not transfer, assign, or share their registration with another individual.
Code of Conduct - Non-Sworn Attendees
All attendees of the 2026 National Gang Summit are expected to conduct themselves in a professional, respectful, and lawful manner at all times.
Due to the sensitive nature of the material presented, including discussions related to active investigations, organized crime trends, and vulnerable individuals, the following standards apply to all participants.
1. Professional Conduct
Attendees must behave in a respectful and professional manner toward all participants, speakers, staff, and venue personnel.
Harassment, intimidation, discrimination, disruptive behaviour, or any form of inappropriate conduct will not be tolerated.
2. Confidentiality and Use of Information
Information shared during the summit may include sensitive operational insights.
Attendees agree:

Not to record, photograph, or distribute presentations or discussions without prior authorization

Not to share sensitive information outside the event in a manner that could compromise investigations, individuals, or agencies

To use all information obtained in a responsible and ethical manner
3. Representation and Attendance
Attendees must:

Attend under their true identity and professional capacity

Not misrepresent their role, organization, or purpose for attending

Not transfer or share their registration with another individual
4. Compliance with Event Rules
Attendees must comply with:

Instructions from ONGIA organizers and event staff
-
Venue policies and applicable laws
-
Any security or access protocols in place
5. Right to Refuse, Remove, or Revoke
ONGIA reserves the right to:
-
Deny entry to any individual
-
Remove any attendee from the event
-
Revoke registration at any time
This includes, but is not limited to:
-
Misrepresentation of identity or professional role
-
Breach of confidentiality
-
Disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate behaviour
-
Any conduct deemed not aligned with the purpose or security of the event
Removal or revocation may occur without refund.
6. Reporting Concerns
Attendees are encouraged to report any concerns regarding conduct, safety, or potential breaches of this Code to ONGIA staff immediately.
All concerns will be reviewed and addressed as appropriate.
7. Acknowledgment
By attending the event, participants acknowledge and agree to abide by this Code of Conduct.
