Membership

ONGIA membership is open to “sworn members of law enforcement agencies” at present. This includes but is not restricted to Police Officers, Probation Officers, Corrections Officers, Immigration Officers and Customs Officers.

The annual membership fee is $30.

Membership runs on a recurring basis, annually. Members must renew yearly and will be informed via email when memberships are soon to expire.

If you attend the annual conference in November the membership fee is included in your registration.

Our Mission

Although ONGIA’s original focus was on street gangs, the expanse of threats ONGIA now recognizes as having influence on street gangs also include other threat groups such as Terrorists, Outlaw Bikers, Extremists and Traditional organized crime groups.

The age of technology has not passed these groups and there are more and more interdependencies and sophistication among them, requiring more active interdiction from law enforcement.

O.N.G.I.A. Membership Requirements

If you are not already a member or are a past member wishing to renew read on...

ONGIA membership is open to "sworn members of law enforcement agencies" at present. This includes but is not restricted to Police Officers, Probation Officers, Corrections Officers, Immigration Officers and Customs Officers.

The annual membership fee is $30. Membership runs from January 1st to December 31st of each year. If you register after October 1st your registration will be for the following year. Members must submit a membership form each year for renewal. If you attend the annual conference in November the membership fee is included in your registration.

If you wish to be a member, or renew a membership, but are unable to attend the annual conference, please correspond with Shonna Smith, ONGIA Membership Director at membership@ongia.org. A membership application will be forwarded to you, and arrangements to verify your identification will be made.

Online payments for membership fees via PayPal can be made from the website. However a membership application form must accompany any on line payments.

Upon becoming a member an Executive Board representative will contact you with your password for the Members Only Section of the website.
